Tillandsia aeranthos purple’s leaves blush a deep dark purple when grown under high light. The leaves towards the bottom usually remain a deep green which gives a pretty contrast to the purple. These plants are very hardy and are great for mounting.

Please note, that there can be color variations in each plant, with some showing more green and some showing more purple. Give strong sunlight to encourage purple blushing.
